Complimentary Jazz Concert Series to Feature Live Performances by Distinguished Artists

Wailea, Maui, Hawaii (May 3, 2022) – The Shops at Wailea, Maui’s premier shopping and dining destination announces the return of Jazz at The Shops on Saturday, May 7 from 5:30-7pm. The complimentary outdoor performances will take place the first Saturday of the month and feature a diverse lineup of jazz artists.

“The return of Jazz at The Shops invites our local community and Maui visitors to enjoy the diverse styles of jazz,” said Diana Whitt, General Manager and Vice President Property Manager of The Shops at Wailea. “This year’s lineup showcases renowned artists and reflects our commitment to enhance the guest experience at our recently revitalized Center.”

Kicking off the return of the beloved jazz concert series are Phil and Angela Benoit. Both have been performing for over two decades and together, they head the Maui-based jazz group, Benoit Jazzworks. They have performed in clubs, concert venues and more all over Hawaii and the west coast. Their original music consists of jazz standards, boss nova, pop and Hawaiian swing with Phil providing a smooth guitar accompanied by Angela’s soothing vocals.

“It’s an honor to be the first performers for the return of Jazz at The Shops,” said Angela and Phil Benoit, Musicians. “We look forward to sharing our music with our local and extended Maui ohana and providing a delightful experience for all guests to enjoy.”

Jazz at The Shops will take place on the Upper Mountain level at The Shops between Prada and lululemon. New artists will be announced each month. The event is complimentary and open to the public.
