Free Live Concert at The Shops at Wailea to Benefit Hospice Maui

Wailea, Maui, Hawaii - (April 17, 2019) The Shops at Wailea welcomes back fun-loving family band The Springmans to Jazz at The Shops on Wednesday, May 1. The free live performance will take place in the upper level luxury wing at The Shops at Wailea from 5:30 to 7pm.

This award-winning, ukulele-strumming musical group is made up of proud dad Perry Springman and his four talented kids: Emma, Ryan, Sarah, and Jacob. Since releasing their debut album Happy Beach in 2016, The Springmans have been performing over 100 shows each year, touring North America and the world from their home base in Canada.

Jazz at The Shops is a complimentary music event that occurs on the first Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 7pm. In a continued effort to give back to the community, The Shops at Wailea supports a different Maui non-profit each month with 60 percent of the special event parking fees going to the selected charity. The non-profit recipient for the month of May is Hospice Maui, which has served the diverse community of Maui with quality, compassionate hospice care for 35 years. Unlike other forms of care that focus only on the patient’s physical needs, Hospice Maui also provides emotional and spiritual support for the patient and loved ones, as well as bereavement support for an entire year.

The Shops’ special events are designed to enrich the community through exploration and discovery in the arts and music, while supporting local businesses and non-profit partners. The four-hour special event parking voucher is available for $5 and can be purchased at the non-profit’s parking table.
